Ankara Festival Texas is Dallas’ biggest African Fashion, Music and Comedy Festival and Award Night, powered by US based Nigerian musician Olawale Ogundeyi popularly known as Lawale Victory. The annual event seeks to showcase the beauty and talents of African fashion and entertainment.
Launched in 2011, Ankara Festival has become a major platform promoting African fashion and beauty to a global audience. The much-anticipated annual event is a celebration of African fashion with special focus on ‘Ankara,’ which origin can be traced to the Western part of Africa.
Quite important to note is that this festival was birthed out of passion to organize a fashion show promoting African prints laced with multicultural entertainment.
Celebrating its 12th anniversary this year, audience at the event will be entertained to the rich African culture, which will be shared through comedy, music, and food. This edition will also feature:
